Inspiration 
 

I wrote this story for a creative writing class, but the idea has been bouncing around in my head for a while. A lot of my inspiration for this story comes from my love for the character of Ashton himself. (To listen to me tell more about my relationship with Ashton, take a listen to my TED Talk.) I want to take Ashton and really explore the depth of him as a human being, and I want the cat to be the catalyst for his emotional overflow.

This is just the very beginning of what I want to do with this story; my eventual goal is to expand this idea into a full novel with this as its introduction.
